1. Service Agreement: By utilizing the services of Autokey Algarve & this website www.autokey.pt, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

2. Services Offered: Autokey Algarve provides locksmith services, including but not limited to Replacement car keys, car lock installations, repairs, rekeying, key cutting, and emergency lockout assistance.

3. Service Availability: Our services are available within the Algarve area and surrounding regions during regular business hours and in emergency situations.

4. Pricing: Prices for services rendered by Autokey Algarve are competitive and transparent. Any additional costs incurred during service will be communicated upfront.

5. Payment: Payment is due upon completion of services rendered by Autokey Algarve. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other pre-agreed-upon forms of payment.

6. Warranty: We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Any issues arising from our services will be addressed promptly and effectively.

7. Liability: Autokey Algarve is not liable for any damages resulting from improper use or handling of our products or services.

8. Confidentiality: We respect the privacy of our clients and ensure that any sensitive information shared during service provision remains confidential.

9. Reservation of Rights: Autokey Algarve reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions: These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Clients will be notified of any updates.

CAR KEYS

13. Replacement Car Keys: Identification & the vehicle documents are required when ordering replacement keys for your vehicle.

14 A. Autokey Algarve is not responsible for any issues arising from the programming of transponder keys to a customer’s vehicle.

B. Will not be responsible for electronic entertainment devices, such as and not limited to stereos & bluetooth devices that require security codes after battery resets or Key programming.

C. Autokey Algarve will only deal with a vehicle’s security system, transponder key programming, steering locks, ignition switch, Key Barrels & door locks.

D. Autokey Algarve will not be liable for any issues a vehicle may develop after key programming services, such as, and not limited to, dashboard warning lights illuminating, or any electronic or mechanical malfunction.

15. Warranty: Transponder keys and remotes supplied by Autokey Algarve come with a limited 6-month warranty and exclude faults due to mishandling, moisture damage, and electronic interference, such as microwave damage. Any genuine fault with transponder keys and remotes will be repaired by Autokey Algarve.

16. Security PIN codes: These codes come with all new vehicles and can be found in the documents for the vehicle. We understand that these security codes can be misplaced over the lifetime of a vehicle. While most security pin codes can be retrieved by Autokey Algarves’ state-of-the-art Electronic programming devices, other times they cannot and will have to be ordered through a third-party code broker/dealer at the expense of the customer.

17. Mechanical key codes: This is the code required to cut a key blank when all keys are lost for a vehicle. In 95% of situations, our expert auto locksmiths can decode the vehicle’s locks and cut new keys for the vehicle. In rare cases, sometimes ignition barrels and or door locks may have been replaced over the lifetime of a vehicle. If this issue arises, the auto locksmith will explain the situation to the customer & any unforeseen charges will be upon the customer

18. Disclaimer: Before any work is carried out on a vehicle, the customer will electronically sign a disclaimer acknowledging they have read the terms and conditions herein.
